Branding Without Words - Feature Article in November issue of Exhibiting Magazine.

A key element of any brand is its logo and we are accustomed to seeing them in almost every conceivable location. So what happened when we were tasked with communicating a brand at a mass market event without this essential tool? Creating a garden for the Tourism Authority of Thailand at the Hampton Court Flower Show presented just such a challenge. The rules surrounding entry into the prestigious flower show prevent any traditional branding and the use of logos, graphics, signage and audio visual is forbidden. The results speak for themselves two of the highest awards available and plaudits from all.

Taste of Thai Festival - Feature Article in July issue of the Stand Out magazine published by CIM Ltd.

Delivering a public event in a world famous public place that is open 24 hours a day and an international tourist destination is quite a feat. Thailand at Trafalgar Sqaure 2010 was a free public festival which required a complete makeover for Trafalgar Square for the one day event. Organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Office of Commercial Affairs, the Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, and other Thai offices in the UK, whose aims were to celebrate and promote the Thai community and most importantly the 50th anniversary of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand’s State Visit to London in 1960. Great care was needed to manage an event in such a historic location.
