If you’ve been exhibiting, or visiting ILTM Asia in Shanghai each year, then you’ll know that ILTM’s calendar changes dramatically from 2018. The existing show will move to Singapore and is being renamed ‘ILTM Asia Pacific’, whilst a new show is launched in Shanghai in October that is dedicated to buyers and planners of outbound luxury travel from China only.
ILTM Asia Pacific in Singapore will be held on 21 – 24 May at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
The bold move was prompted by research indicating that the luxury outbound market is growing so fast that many companies are now separating plans and marketing strategies to focus on China and Asia as two independent opportunities.
Similar in context to ILTM in Cannes, ILTM Asia Pacific will be re-positioned to represent the whole of Asia, attracting more international buyers.
We have been designing and installing stands at ILTM Asia since the show’s inception. Clients include; Edition, Rocco Forte, Regent Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, Belmond, Bulgari and Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts.
Value Retail showcased a new design at ILTM Asia in 2017.
The future is looking bright for this market; Asia Pacific surpassed North America for the first time in 2016 to become the region with the largest amount of high net worth wealth (World Wealth Report 2016). By 2025, the report states that Asia-Pacific’s high net worth population would more than double to 11.7 million individuals. Luxury travel is outpacing ordinary travel in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.
If you plan to exhibit at ILTM Asia Pacific in Singapore, get in touch for a stand that matches your sales aspirations. We project manage in the UK, use local workshop facilities and have a dedicated support team on site for the duration of the show.
